Channahon serves as the headquarters for G&D Trucking Inc./Hoffman Transportation as well as one of our Administration Offices, Rail Transfer Facility, Maintenance Facility, and Tank Wash Facility.

Rail Transfer Facility

This 650 railcar capacity transloading facility is serviced daily by the BNSF railroad. All railcar spots are accessible for bulk truck transloading and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The facility owns and operates an on-site locomotive for internal yard switching with trained personnel according to FRA regulations and safety procedures at all times. 24/7 security is on-site with surveillance and key card access throughout the facility.
